8 ounces Ground Beef
1/2 cup Onion, diced small
4 slices Bacon (2 chopped for dip, 2 cooked and crumbled for topping)
12 ounces Palmetto Cheese with Bacon (Original or Jalapeno can be used)
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
2 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp Mustard
1/2 cup Pickles, chopped
2 Hamburger Buns (cut into quarters, tops and bottoms)
In a pan, add ground beef, onions, and 2 slices of bacon that have been cut into smaller pieces. Once beef and bacon have browned, drain off all excess oil.
On medium heat, add Palmetto Cheese, cream cheese, ketchup, mustard, and pickles to the pan with the meat. Stir until well combined and cook for 5 minutes. Pour into a serving dish and top with bacon crumbles. The dip would be great topped with French’s Fried Onions too!
Serve with chips, crackers, or with hamburger buns that have been quartered. Serve with slice pickles on side if desired.
