These are great for lunchtime, snack time for the kids or an appetizer for a party. You can make them ahead of time and cook them as needed. You can also add a slice of deli meat if you want or additional toppings before you roll it up, but we kept it simple with just PC.
For each roll-up, you’ll need:
1 slice of bread
1-2 Tablespoons Palmetto Cheese – Original, Jalapeno, or Bacon
Oil for sauteing
With a rolling pin, flatten a slice of bread. We sprayed our rolling pin with a little pan spray to keep the bread from sticking, but try one slice first as you might not have to do this. If you want to remove the crusts prior to rolling you certainly can.
Spread Palmetto Cheese over the slice of flattened bread and then roll it up! It’s not really any more complicated than that.
In a saute pan on medium heat, add 1-2 Tbsp of oil. When the oil is hot, add your roll-ups and cook until golden brown on each side. If you are making a lot of these for a party, place them on a sheet pan after they are golden brown and put them into a warm oven.
Oh my gosh. I bought this at Sam’s Club yesterday and can’t stop eating it! THANK YOU!
Thank you for spreadin’ the soul for Palmetto Cheese, Collette!!
