Palmetto Cheese – Original, Jalapeno, or Bacon
Pretzel Sticks (1 cup for crumbs)
Place pretzel sticks into a food storage bag and crush with a rolling pin. If you have a food processor, feel free to use that to crush the pretzels. Pour crushed pretzels into a dish and set aside.
Wash your strawberries and cut the tops off. Set them aside.
Drop spoonfuls of Palmetto Cheese into the crushed pretzels. Roll them around with your hands until all are coated with the pretzels crumbs. If you have difficulty with your cheese balls falling apart on the next step, place them into the refrigerator or freezer until they are chilled and firm.
Hold a cheese ball in one hand and with the other hand, push a pretzel stick into the center until the cheese ball is halfway up the stick. Push the remaining part of the pretzel stick into the top of a strawberry. Continue to make as many as you like!
We also formed 1 cup of Palmetto Cheese into a ball and rolled it into our remaining crushed pretzels. That was placed onto a serving tray with the Palmetto Cheese Pretzel and Strawberry Medley surrounding it.
