Cut the top off of however many banana peppers you want to prepare.
Remove the seeds from the peppers and discard.
Stuff the pepper with a teaspoon of Palmetto Cheese.
Next, stuff the pepper with sausage of your choice. We used Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, but you can use hot sausage, Italian sausage, or any loose sausage.
Place on the grill and cook until the sausage is fully cooked. You can also bake in the oven at 375F until the sausage is cooked and the peppers are tender.
Serve with additional spoonfuls of Palmetto Cheese. We also added some sliced grilled tomatoes.
Tip: The next time you make stuffed green peppers, put down a layer of Palmetto Cheese first and prepare as you normally would.
