1 cup Palmetto Cheese – The Pimento Cheese with Soul!
6 oz Stove Top Stuffing (any variety)
8 oz Breakfast Sausage, uncooked
In a microwave safe bowl, add the stuffing mix and 1-1/2 cups water. Stir and microwave for 4 minutes. Before continuing, cool down the stuffing mixture. After the stuffing has cooled, add sausage and the egg and stir until combined. Fold in Palmetto Cheese until just combined.
Preheat oven to 375F.
Grease small muffin pans. Fill each pan until full. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan. Use a spoon or a fork to remove the bites from the pan. Makes approximately 48 small muffin pan size bites that are perfect party appetizers!
If you don’t want to make all of the bites, you can also use the leftover mixture on chicken breasts or pork chops. Top the raw chicken or pork with the stuffing mixture and bake. The stuffing mixture contains raw meat, so just make sure you cook thoroughly.
