This holiday season serve your guests a vegetable tray in a fun new way, as a Christmas Tree!! Your guests can dip the vegetables into the Palmetto Cheese “garland” on the tree for a tasty treat.
For the tree, you’ll need:
24 oz Palmetto Cheese – Original, Jalapeno, or Bacon
2 heads Broccoli
1 Cup Cauliflower
Cherry Tomatoes
Carrots
Yellow Pepper
Celery
Directions:
Cut the vegetables as you would for a vegetable tray (slices, sticks, and florets). On a serving tray, start with a celery stick for the stump. Next, add a row of broccoli and then a row of Palmetto Cheese for the garland. After that, add celery sticks, another row of Palmetto Cheese, and finish with broccoli. Just remember to keep the tree shape as you add items to the tray. To decorate, cut a yellow pepper into a star, add carrot slices, cherry tomatoes, and cauliflower to finish off the tree. Feel free to use whatever vegetables you like! Radishes and mushrooms would be great ornaments too.
Our holiday table also features Palmetto Cheese Lollipops and Pesto Mini Pinwheels (recipe coming soon).
